More Travel Tips! Shout out to Jürgen!

After posting my blog two weeks ago, Jürgen, an exchange student from FH Joanneum at UOIT gave some great additional travel tips to check out when going to Europe. Eurail can be expensive at times but there is an alternative. InterRail provides a similar service at a fraction of the cost. When travelling around Europe be sure to compare the two.

Also, when it comes to German speaking countries, they have their own version of kayak.com. Swoodoo performs essentially the same service as Kayak, but it also displays flight deals on the homepage. You could get lucky and score a great deal! Also, the search engine can find car deals from numerous sources. Services like ExpediaEuropcarRedTag and Cheapoair are worth looking into as well. Fair warning! The entire Swoodoo site is in German and you may require the assistance of Google Translate.

This will be my last post before I fly out to Graz and before I go to McMun. From here on out I will be posting on a bi-weekly basis. Until then, if you will be in Montreal the weekend of the 25th or in Europe between February and July, do not hesitate to contact me through any of the links on the left side of this page.
